Combat ranking
A class DPS and DPM ranking for MapleStory Classic: theoretical sustained damage per second and per minute by class and weapon at the same level, single target or multi target, against any monster.
What are DPS and DPM?
DPS is damage per second and DPM is damage per minute: how much damage a class deals over time while it keeps using its best attack. DPM is the same figure over a full minute, which is how many players compare classes.
What is the difference between single target and multi target DPS?
Single target DPS is damage against one monster, the number that matters for bosses and one-on-one training. Multi target DPS adds up every monster an attack can hit in a group, so area skills climb the table.
Which class has the highest DPS?
It depends on the monster, your level, how many monsters are in the pack and the build, so the table answers it for your setup. Pick a monster, switch between single target and multi target, and the classes from Fighter, Page and Spearman to the Bowman, Thief and Magician lines re-rank on the spot. Open a row to see the skill, hits, cast time and critical chance behind that class's DPS.
How is class DPS calculated?
From each skill's damage and hit count, the weapon's attack and speed, masteries, boosters, critical chance, the monster's defence, level and element, and how long each cast takes on screen. Every skill is at its maximum level. Nothing here is a measured fight, and every assumption is listed on the page.
