Hi Maplers! Welcome to the Global MapleStory Classic World Closed Online Test #2! This second test is another opportunity for you to jump into the game, explore what has changed since the previous test, and share your feedback with us before the official launch.

For this second test we want you to explore the new areas, systems, and supported features, including the 3rd Job Advancement content that will become available during the later half of the test!

We want to know what works, what doesn’t, and what we may have missed that could make your Global MapleStory Classic World experience even better. Here’s how you can share your feedback:

We want to support you during the Closed Online Test, so we prepared a starter gift to help kick off your playtest journey when you create a new character during the Closed Online Test period!

As you explore Maple Island and Victoria Island, reach level milestones to unlock quests and earn exclusive rewards along the way! We want to encourage you to push through the content and see how far you can get. Quests will be available to complete on specific dates during the Closed Online Test period.

Note: Accounts that complete the ‘[Event] A Strange and Familiar Wood’ and ‘[Event] Beyond the Unknown’ quests will be able to claim the same rewards again at the official launch of Classic World. Accounts that completed these quests during the first Closed Online Test and complete them again during the second Closed Online Test will receive two of each corresponding reward at the official launch of Classic World.

On August 8, 2026, the airship to Ossyria will be ready for departure! Board the airship at Ellinia Station and travel beyond Victoria Island to explore areas like Orbis, El Nath, and Dead Mine.

• Join our official MapleStory Discord - We have Closed Online Test channels where you can share your feedback, suggestions, and discuss anything you experience during Closed Online Test with other testers!
• Found a bug? Report them over in our Discord Closed Online Test bug-reports channel .
• Player Support is available for technical and account-related issues only. If you’re running into something related to that you can submit a ticket here .
• When the Closed Online Test is over, we’ll be sending out a survey to gather your feedback as well!
• The game can be played on both Windows and macOS.
• Xbox and PlayStation controllers are supported. Other controllers may not function properly.
• The game now supports English and Spanish language.
• Up to 3 characters can be created per account.
• Maple Island and Victoria Island will be available for you to explore! On August 8, 2026 12:00 AM UTC the airship to Ossyria will begin operating and characters Lv. 10 and above can explore Orbis, El Nath, and Dead Mine.
• There are 4 jobs you can choose from.
• The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Job Advancements are available at Lv. 10, Lv. 30, and Lv. 70 respectively.
• Starting August 11, 2026 at 12:00 AM UTC , you can set your character to Lv. 100 by speaking with the Job Advancement instructors at the Chief’s Residence located in El Nath. This will allow you to freely test the 3rd Job Advancement and its skills.
• Equipment and consumable items needed for the selected job will be added to your inventory. Once you change jobs, you cannot change jobs again for 1 hour.
• Accept the ‘[Event] Gift for the New Journey’ quest that appears above your character to receive your Gift for the New Journey . This gift can only be claimed once per account.
• Open the gift to receive the following:
• Reach Lv. 10
• Complete the '[Event] A Strange and Familiar Wood' quest by talking to Arwen the Fairy.
• Classic Beginnings Label Ring: Untradable, Permanent.
• Reach Lv. 15
• Complete the '[Event] Beyond the Unknown' quest by talking to Arwen the Fairy.
• Classic Beginnings Chat Ring: Untradable, Permanent.
• Reach Lv. 20
• Complete the ‘[Event] A New Adventure Awaits’ quest by talking to Betty.
• Ticket to Orbis (Basic): Untradable, Permanent.
• Leaf Points (5,000) Exchange Coupon: Untradable, 7-day duration.
• Blue Potion (x30): Tradable, Permanent.

• Accept the ‘[Event] Growing Leaf’ quest by talking to Maple Administrator.
• Receive a Pale Maple Leaf and after playing for 60 minutes it’ll ripen into a Reddened Maple Leaf. Bring the Reddened Maple Leaf to Maple Administrator to receive the following rewards:
• The quest can be completed once a day per account and resets daily at 12:00 AM UTC .
• If you log out before the Pale Maple Leaf ripens, it will disappear and be removed from your inventory.

While you’re playtesting, our GMs are going to be hanging out in-game too! GMs will be popping up throughout the day, so if you see one in the wild, come say hi! They’ll also be hosting a couple of events that you can participate in during the test period.

August 6, 9, 12 | Time: 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

• Meet the GMs and other testers in Orbis on August 12, 2026 at 11:00 PM UTC for a final group photo.
• Talk to Lyn located in Lith Harbor to instantly move to Orbis!

August 5, 2026 - August 12, 2026 | Time: 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

GMs are causing chaos in towns and are summoning monsters across the map! With the power of friendship, join other Maplers to defeat the monsters for a chance to collect rewards. (Note: Death penalties do not apply while in a town.)

August 5, 8, 11 | Time: 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

Team up with other Maplers and harvest as many coconuts as possible before time runs out! Watch out for obstacles and traps as you compete to earn the highest score.

• Talk to Paul at Lith Harbor to move to the event map. Test your physical fitness and take on a jump quest within 15 minutes.
• Movement and jump are set to default, and skills like Haste and Teleport are disabled. Consumable items can't be used either.
• Successfully complete the physical fitness challenge to receive the Scroll of Secrets reward.

August 7, 10 | Time: 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

Climb your way through three stages and choose the correct portals to reach the finish before time runs out!

• Talk to Paul at Lith Harbor to move to the event map.
• Players will be divided into two teams.
• Players that own a Scroll of Secrets cannot enter the event.
• Attack coconut trees using melee attacks to collect as many coconuts as possible within 5 minutes.
• Ranged attacks and skills cannot be used and will be disabled.
• If you don’t have a melee weapon, you can purchase one by talking to Harry located in the event map.
• The winning team receives the Scroll of Secrets reward.

During the Closed Online Test period, the Cash Shop will have its own currency called Leaf Points. Explore the Cash Shop to its fullest, browse around, and try things out because Fashion Story might just be endgame!

For the Closed Online Test, we’ve set the price for all items in the Cash Shop to be 100 Leaf Points so you can have the opportunity to try out as many items as possible with the Leaf Points you earn from events. Cash Shop prices in Closed Online Test are not final and what you see is for testing purposes only and are subject to change before the official launch. • Talk to Paul at Lith Harbor to move to the event map.
• Movement and jump are set to default and skills like Haste and Teleport are disabled. Consumable items can't be used either.
• Find your way through ladders and tricky portals within the time limit. Choose carefully, as some portals will move you to the next map while others may send you back to the beginning.
• Reach the last stage to receive the Scroll of Secrets reward.
• NX from your existing account cannot be used during the test period.
• The Gifting feature will be restricted.
• Items in the Cash Shop may have expiration dates.
• Pets will have a 3-day duration during the Closed Online Test period so players can test out the Water of Life item.
• All Cash Shop purchases will be deleted from your account when the Closed Online Test ends.
