MapleStory Classic World Founder’s Access details: Kerning PQ channel restrictions, character limits, jobs, crafting, citizenship and the first check-in event.

What changed: October 7 update: Kerning City Party Quest is now available only on channels 3, 4 and 5 because of increased activity on channels 1 and 2.

For you: Organize Kerning PQ on channel 3, 4 or 5. Characters must be level 21 or higher; speak to Lakelis in Kerning City to enter.

Latest update: Kerning City Party Quest

The October 7 update restricts Kerning City Party Quest to channels 3, 4 and 5 because of increased activity on channels 1 and 2.

The announcement does not give the earlier channel list. Characters of level 21 and above can enter through Lakelis in Kerning City.

Character limits, jobs and exploration

Crafting, citizenship and controls

Crafting: Available from level 10. Visit crafting NPCs to view recipes and material requirements; crafting develops your skills and unlocks more recipes.

Citizenship: Available from level 12 in Henesys and Kerning City. Speak to Arthur in Henesys Town Hall or Roxy in Kerning City Civic Center. Community Board requests earn Contribution toward citizenship grades. Perks include specialty-shop access and discounts on cabs, storage and some general-store items.

Controls and platforms: Windows and macOS are supported. English and Spanish (Beta) are available. Classic Style and Modern Style key bindings are offered; Modern Style supports WASD. Xbox and PlayStation controllers are supported, but controller support must be enabled in Game Options-it is off by default.

Beauty Album: Save hairstyles, face styles and skin color for later use.

Founder’s First Step check-in event

Runs October 6 at 18:00 UTC through October 20 at 23:59 UTC. Level-10-and-above characters can accept the event quest from Maple Administrator.

Check-ins are cumulative: missing a day does not reset progress. Each check-in day’s rewards can be claimed once per account.

Leaf Points coupons, megaphones and effect boxes are untradable and have a 7-day duration. Red and Blue Potions are account-bound and permanent.

Beta rewards at Grand Launch

Accounts that completed the specified event quests during Closed Online Tests #1 and #2 can claim the Classic Beginnings Label/Chat Ring at Grand Launch. The Mark of Beta event is planned to start October 21, 2026.
